Some of you may be aware that I have a few artists working on the same character, Bea a modern day bee spirit. I created the character to bring attention to something called "colony collapse disorder".

Our little honey making friends are in a bit of a bind. Bee colonies in North America are vanishing at an alarming rate. You can read about it here: [link] and here [link]

I now introduce Bea. This spirit is a spirit of protection and prosperity. She is kind and playful yet fiercely protective of friends and family. The image I chose for Bea is a playful moment, a pin-up of her in a bikini.
